ARE GRATUITIES INCLUDED IN THE TOUR PRICE?
All Gratuities are included for coach driver, and all of our drinking and eating establishments, however if you feel you had exceptional service from our comedic tour guides, they greatly appreciate any optional gratuities you would like to give them.
WILL THERE BE ANY FOOD ON THE TOUR?
Yes! On our two VIP Full Day Tours, we start each tour with a complimentary full lunch at one of our Brewery Pubs, where you will be provided with a selection of food to choose from on our special tour menu. Our To The Mountains tour also provides an additional appetizer. You will have the opportunity to purchase additional food along the way. We also have water & snacks on the coach.

WHAT ABOUT SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?
Our partners can accommodate most dietary restrictions for any included meals. Please inform us regarding the nature of your restrictions when booking your tour and we will pass this on. A note on gluten: Typically, beer is not gluten-free. Some of our tour stops do from time to time offer gluten-free options, however, we cannot guarantee their availability.
HOW ARE YOU GETTING US FROM PLACE TO PLACE?
After your designated pick-up, you will be transported on a comfortable Mini-coach. Although there are no washrooms on board, we will ensure you have plenty of opportunities to … ahh shall we say … make room for more drinks?!
CAN I DRINK ALCHOHOL ON THE BUS?
Nope! Nada! Alcohol is not permitted to be opened or consumed on the mini-coach due to Alberta Liquor Laws and our Insurance and Licences.
WHERE ARE YOUR TOUR PICK UP AND DROP OFF POINTS?
For our two Flagship VIP Tours, we offer a pick-up in Calgary at the Crowfoot LRT Station and a pick-up in Cochrane. Click here to see maps
- Crowfoot LRT Station: We will pick you up at the LRT exit Bus Loop, between the station and the Park and Ride lot. Pick up will be at 10:15am and drop off at 7:00pm
- Cochrane: at the COLT Bus Stop Quarry 8A, outside the Urgent Care Centre on the West side of the street. Pick up will be at 10:45am and drop off at 6:30pm
For our new Booze-a-Lution Tour, pick-up & drop-off will be at predesignated points in Cochrane.
CAN WE BRING CHILDREN OR MINORS?
As many of our Behind-the-Scenes Brewery and Distillery Tours and some of the tasting locations do not allow children/minors on site, this is an adult only tour. Sorry folks – gotta leave the kiddos at home!
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME FOR THE TOURS?
Please bring your valid Gov’t Issued photo ID and comfortable clothes with closed-toe shoes to participate in the tour (see next question for why). If you plan to take lots of videos and pictures, or post your awesome day to social media as you go, you may want to bring a portable charger for your phone. If you have any growlers at home you would like to refill, feel free to bring 1 or 2 along with you.
WHY ARE CLOSED-TOE SHOES REQUIRED?
All guests must wear closed-toe shoes to participate in the tour – no sandals or flip flops. Closed toed shoes are mandatory for some of the behind-the-scenes tours at our Breweries or Distilleries. This is a safety precaution that the breweries or distilleries themselves are required to enforce, therefore, no exceptions can be made. If you are taking a tour during the summer months, please plan accordingly or bring a pair you can change into if you really, really want to have those pretty toes showing!
CAN WE TAKE PICTURES WHILE ON THE TOUR?
Of course! We like to share tour experiences! And other guests may take photos too. Of course, we make all necessary efforts to portray your likeness in a respectful manner and ask that you do so too if taking photos of other guests. You also understand and agree to grant Brewz ‘N’ Booze a royalty-free license to use these images or videos of your likeness on our waiver.
CAN I PURCHASE BEER, SPIRITS, COOLERS (OR ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES), AND/OR MERCHANDISE ON MY OWN AT THE BREWERIES?
Yes! We leave time for this on each stop, and encourage you to do so! You can’t keep the alcohol you’ve purchased at your seat (no sneaky drinky on the bus!), however we have plenty of storage on the mini coach for you to keep your six-packs, growlers or bottles until the tour is finished. You can even bring your own growler or two from home to fill up at one of our Brewery stops. You’re also welcome to purchase an alcoholic drink to go with your meal, but please keep in mind that you do so at your own risk for excessive consumption, as we feel we provide a sufficient amount of alcohol ‘tasters’ and ‘flights’ on the tour.
WHAT IF I AM LATE FOR THE TOUR?
We provide email confirmations and a 24-hour reminder for your tour, pick up location and start time. If you are running late and unable to meet the coach on time, we may have to leave without you so we don’t keep other guests waiting an unreasonable amount of time and so that we can stay on schedule with our brewery and distillery reservations. You’re welcome to join the tour in progress at the first location of your tour, by cab/uber at your own expense. Lateness Policy – Brewz ‘N Booze does not provide refunds, partial credits, expense reimbursements related to additional travel costs, or provide the opportunity to reschedule your booking due to lateness and/or a missed tour due to lateness. It is your responsibility to arrive on time at the correct location so please plan accordingly.
WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL?
We understand that life happens and you may not be able to attend your tour. If you are unable to attend, you can transfer your seats to other guests that are willing to purchase your tickets at no extra charge. You MUST however contact Brewz ‘N’ Booze and provide the name(s), contact information (cell phone & email), and pick up point of the new guest(s) so we can add them in and contact them to sign our waiver.
If you’re unable to transfer your seats to others in the event you are cannot make the tour, our Cancellation Policy for Public Tours is as follows:
Less than 48 hours: No refunds
Less than 7 calendar days: 50% refund
At least 1 week before the tour: Full refund
COULD MY TOUR BE CANCELLED?
Highly unlikely, but it is possible. In the event of severe weather or a lack of tour-goers, the tour may be cancelled. Brewz ‘N’ Booze reserves the right to cancel tours due to unsafe weather, unfavorable roadways, road closures. In the unlikely event this occurs, all available efforts will be taken to notify you and reschedule for an alternate date of your choosing.
I PAID FOR MY BOOKING, BUT HAVE NOT RECEIVED A CONFIRMATION EMAIL?
If you have not received an email from us, be sure to check your spam folder. Our emails are automated and will sometimes slip past your inbox. If it is not in spam, you can reach out to us by phone or email and we will happily send you your confirmation again.
CAN I DRIVE HOME AFTER THE TOUR?
No! We highly discourage this unless you have a Designated Driver. You will have had too much to drink to drive safely or legally. Please make other arrangements to get yourself and your friends home safely.
For this reason, we have pick up and drop off points at Crowfoot LRT in Calgary that can take you closer to home, where you can take a taxi or uber from there.
From the Cochrane pick up and drop off points, you can use the local taxi companies inexpensively to get home. COLT (Cochrane On-Demand Local Transit can also be reserved for your ride to our pick-up point, but at this time they do not offer weekend service after 3 pm.
